Miltown 0-3 St.Josephs Doora Barefield 3-16
Our Senior side finished off the league section of this years Cusack Cup with a very disappointing defeat to a rampant Doora Barefield side in Gurteen on Monday.
Miltown opened the scoring with a Cian Mahony free but that was the highlight of a poor first half for Miltown as the home side went on to score 2-9 to no reply before Barry Keating blew the whistle for half time.
The second half unfortunately saw more of the same as the home side were dominant in all aspects of play especially on the scoreboard as they added on another 1-7 to 2 points from Miltown from Cian Mahony & Darragh McDonagh. Despite this loss the lads have qualified for the 1/2 Final where they will take on Lissycasey, holders Ennistymon await the winners in the 2024 final
