Division 5 league: Miltown 1:13 Cratloe 0:5

Our Junior side got their Division 5 league campaign back on track in Hennessy Memorial Park on Sunday with an impressive victory over Cratloe. Playing with the aid of a strong wind Miltown began well, three early points a Euan Lineen goal giving us a six-point lead before the visitors got off the mark. Miltown continued to impress as the half wore onand added on a further five points to leave the halftime score Miltown 1-8 Cratloe 0-2.

Playing into the wind in the second half Miltown kept a firm grip on possession and were clinical with any chances that came their way scoring five further points from Oisin meade, Sean and Ger Malone and Euan lineen while a resolute and disciplined defence restricted the visitors to three points.
