Miltown 1-10 St.Breckans 1-10

Our senior maintained their unbeaten start in this years Cusack Cup after playing out an entertaining draw with St.Breckans in Hennessy Memorial Park. In ideal conditions under lights both sides scored some points from play in the first half. Cian Mahony in particular caught the eye with three fine scores. St. Breckans held a one point lead at half time on a scoreline of 06 to 0-5 with Miltowns other scores coming Paul Keane & Micheal Murray.

Miltown started the second half in impressive form and built up a four point lead with a great team goal finished off by Ralph Whelehan the highlight of the scores. The visitors however fought back well and after a somewhat controversial goal the sides were locked together as the referee blew the final whistle. Miltowns points in the second half came from Dominic griffin (2) Darragh McDonagh (2) and Oisin Meade (1)
